IMPORTANCE OF VALUE EDUCATION
For making the lives of the coming generation lively and meaningful and redeeming from disastrous ideologies, BVM Kitchlu Nagar organized a Seminar on ‘Importance of Value Education in Modern Life’. As today’s students are getting accustomed of modernity of everything which is far from the proper implication of traditional values, value education is very much required. Resource person Mrs. Ruchika Jain (CA,Trainer) diagnosed transmitting a set of values like mode of conduct, solidarity, justice, equality, generosity and empathy for determining levels of goodness and desirability. The trend of losing values must be checked urgently. Major responsibility lies on teachers and education policies- advocated Ms Ruchika Jain. Principal Neelam Mittar said- Today’s’ education stimulates economic considerations by denying any reference to value education. Cut throat competition is turning students into robots with no respect to elders, Teachers need to work on effective methods to internalize values amongst the students, Modernity at any cost should not be allowed to sweep off our feet from our rich tradition.
