Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated Janamashtmi -Birth Anniversary of Lord Krishna with traditional gaiety and fervour. Students belonging to the four houses of the school enacted various events and accomplishments of Lord Krishna’s life like Krishna Leela, Baal Leela, Brij ki Holi and Goverdhan Pujan amidst much pomp and show in dance performances. Bright and lively as it goes with the name of Krishna Bhagwan, the students followed the same spirit and participated with real zeal in Drawing Competition by sketching and coloring the little Krishna of their own imaginations. The epic of Lord Krishna’s eventful life was animated in great aesthetic style in class wise Soft Board Decoration Competition. Chants of Hare Rama Hare Krishna reverberated the air and turned the school into real ‘Varindavan’ after the display of a movie on Lord Krishna through smart board.
Helping them to be close to their rich tradition and culture, the students got intellectually stimulated through Quiz Competition on Lord Krishna and his religious philosophy. The tiny tots of nursery class displayed their artistic talent in decoration of Shree Krishna’s mukut.
Principal Mrs Neelam Mittar congratulated B.V.M. family and applauded to the work done by the students and the staff and motivated the students to explore their potentials as life itself is a biggest platform for you to perform.
