ANNUAL REPORT 2024-25
 
It is important to recognize that education is not only about imparting knowledge but about nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared to face the world with confidence,kindness and curiosity.This year we have continued to strive towards this goal by enhancing our academic programs and enriching our extra -curricular activities.
ACADEMICS-Achieving academic excellence remains at the core of all the educators academic institutions. The committed efforts of our students in Board Examination have bought Laurels to the school.
In class X-Out of 284 students

* 40 students scored 90% and above
* 76 students scored 80% and above

*Chirag Gupta clinched first position with a score of 97.6%

*Aryan Thakur bagged second position with 96.4%

*Aashna Manocha and Delisha Srao both secured third position with 95.6%.

 
IN CLASS XII-Out of 241 students
  • 28 students scored 90% and above
  • 75 students scored 80% above
* Parikshit from the Commerce stream bagged Top position by scoring 97%.
  
*Deepanshu Gupta from Non-medical stream clinched First position with a score of 94.4%

*In the medical stream Pawani. Gandhi achieved the highest score of 91.8%


Our school students also excelled in JEEmains Examination -

Deepanshu scored 99.8 percentile, Abhipasha 94.6, Himani 93.6, and Madhav Kohli with 91.6 percentile.

OLYMPIADS- We are proud to announce that our students have showcased their brilliance on global platform by excelling in various OLYMPIADS.
  • Our students won 6 medals of distinctions and 78 Gold Medal of Excellence in SOF Olympiads.
  • Deepanshu Gupta achieved 254 International rank in IMO andreceived a gift voucher of Rs.500/-
ATL Achievements-We havespecialachievements of ATL i.e. Atal Tinkering Lab, and an initiative of Niti Aayog, Govt. of India.Building a rich blend of innovations our ATL Team added a strong string of successes.
1.  Mayank Verma received a cash prize of Rs. 10000/- in State Level Inspire Awards
2. Akhil Kundra received a cash prize of Rs.2,000 in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan
3.  Three models selected at National level in GYS Avishkar Award, Mayuri got a cash prize of Rs. 1500/- for smart umbrella project
4.   Rain alarm project in Youth Ideathon 2024 won a cash prize of Rs. 1000/-
5.  Divyanshu and Piyush got Second prize in Inter-School Technovanza for Recycling brain project at BCM, Basant City
6.  Rajveer and Mitali topped in Sparks Storm Innovation Fest at BCM Arya Model School.
7.  Three Models of our school got First three positions in different categories in District Level competitionorganized by Municipal Corporation Ludhiana.
8.  Priyal and Anant received second prize in Matrix 2024 at GGNIMT.
 9.  Our School was distinguished as the ATL School of the month for July 2024 by ATL Innovation mission.
10. It is a matter of pride for all of us that two models Solar Power Umbrella project by Mayuri and Priyal and kit for blind people by Aryan Thakur and Ganesha shortlisted for CBSE skill expo 2024.
 
Co-curricular Achievements-
  1. Divyanshi earned cash prize of Rs.11000/-in singing competitionheld at Kishore Kumar Fan Club, Chandigarh
  2. First prize of Rs.5100/- in State Level Dance Competition organized by Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra
  3. Aanya grabbed Rs. 2500/- in the poster making competition held at PCTE.
  4. Manya Gupta, Abhimanyu Singla and ChiragGupta got cash prize of Rs.2100/- each and Natik Kapoor received cash prize of Rs.1000/- in Narayan Talent Search Examination.
  5. Our school won various prizes in Ludhiana Sahodaya School Inter School competitions. 
  1. Second prize in LSSC Group Folk Song Competition held at Guru Harkrishan Public School
  2. Third prize in LSSC Mime competition held at Atam Public School, Consolation prize in LSSC Group Folk Dance Competition held at BCM, Sec. 32,
  3. Consolation prize in LSSC Story telling competition held at BCM Arya Model School
  4. Third prize in LSSC Market Campaigning competition held at BCM Basant Avenue
  5. Saanvi got consolation prize in Hindi Declamation
  1. Harshita Bhanot won First prize in declamation and Reyansh in Story telling in Hub of Learning competitions organized by Eastwood International School
  2. Vani Jain got top position in Inter-School Poster-Making competition held at PAU Ludhiana.
  3. Tanishi Singla bagged three times First positions in Poster Making, Drawing & Painting and Face Painting competition
 
  1. Kaashvi Maggo got second prize in Inter School Declamation held at Nehru Sidhant Kendra.
  2. Our school attained a series of successes in Pratibha Inter School competition held at Khalsa Institute of Management and Technology and Vagmita held at Delhi Public School
  3.  Our school music team got second prize in Hindi & Sanskrit group song competition.
NCCOur NCC cadets attended Annual Training Camps and earned A certification.

Sports Achievements- Our school offers various sports such as handball, Football, Volleyball, Chess, taekwondo, yoga, weightlifting, wrestling, kurash, karate, Badminton and judo. Our sports stars won 85 gold, 119 silver, and 142 bronze medals at various levels. Our school’s teams and individual athletes performed exceptionally well at various District, State and National Level competitions.

Handball-
  • Paras Chadha and Lakshmikant participated at National level Handball Tournament.
  • Sukriti & Himanshu clinched gold medalin State Level Handball Tournament
  • Chehak, Saanvi and Avni Joshi got Silver Medal in State Level Handball Tournament
Swimming - Samarth participated at National Level Swimming Championship
In the LSSC Swimming championship - Samarth secured 2 gold and 2 bronze medals. And Chirag won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
Samarth and Chirag qualified for State Level championship.

Weight lifting - In weightlifting tournament, Kartikey won gold medal and selected for State Level and Dev Verma won silver medal in Weightlifting tournament
 
Kurash
  • Sanya brought a silver medal in Kurash National Championship held at Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
  • Kartik &Sukriti participated in Sub - Junior National Kurash Tournament hosted in Haryana and Sukriti clinched Bronze Medal
Wrestling - Garvita won gold medal and participated at the State Level Tournament at Tarantarn.

Judo- Sukriti Mittal won National Level Bronze Medal in Khelo India women league held at Shimla

Kartik won bronze medal at State Level tournament held at Tarantarn.

In the LSSC Judo Tournament U/14 and U/17 girls bagged third position and won a trophy.Boys won 2 gold ,5 silver and 4 bronze and girls won 1 gold ,5 silver and 1 bronze.
Volleyball- in LSSC Volleyball U/19 Girls team won Silver medal
Tae-kwondo -Our Six sports stargot selected for State Level Tae-Kwondo.
Badminton- In Open Badminton Tournament Vyom won Bronze Medal and also participated at State Level Tournament held at Abohar
Chess- Rizzu Jain selected for State level added another feather in the cap
Yoga- Four students participated at State Level Yoga Championship and Ishika won bronze medal
LSSC Athletic Meet Held at Police DAV -
  • Parth Negi won gold medal in Long Jump
  • Ravleen Kaur won Gold medal in Discus Throw
  • Tanish Kashyap won bronze medal in Long Jump
  • Chaitanya won bronze medal in 400 mtr.
 
 
 
Balvatika- Madhav Vibhag is a vibrant and enthusiastic wing, where the playway method and activity-based learning form the cornerstone of Education. This approach encourages the children to learn at their own Pace, focusing on social interaction and emotional skills for robust early development.

Celebrations of festivals such as Ganpati, Diwali, Dueserra, Guru Purnima, Janamashtmi Instill culture values andspecial days like Father's Day,Mother’s Day children day Grandparents’ day are celebrated to foster family relationships.

Cognitive, Gross and   Fine motor skills are honed through sports, Arts and crafts and various competitions like fancy dress, storytelling and dance shows.

Comprehensive school health programme-
The importance of health, personal hygiene, nutrition, physical fitness, etc. is reiteratedthrough several classroom activities throughout the year.
A comprehensive medical inspection by a team of specialist is organised every year for Vision, dental and general check-up.

Workshop For students-To update the knowledge and skill of our students’ various workshops are conducted time to time. Eminent resource persons are invited to ignite their minds and stay updated.

Workshop for teachers- Staying updated is the key to success in any field, especially in the field of education. Our teacher constantly strives to stay updated by attending workshops and various training programs.Our school organized various Capacity Building Programmes on Happy Classroom, Learning Outcomes in Pedagogies, Educating Parents for Education etc. for the faculty development.

FIELD TRIPS and Excursions-"Our school organized enriching trips to Rangla Punjab, Science City and the Parliament House, providing students with invaluable learning experiences. These excursions fostered hands-on experiences as well as understanding of science, technology, culture and governance. Students gained practical insights into India's democratic processes, scientific innovations and rich cultural heritage.
 
Community Service adds value to life- We wish to instill these values by taking our children to Old Age Homes, sharing under Daan Utsav programmes and organizing ATL Community Days every year.

Special Achievements-
  • District Level award was presented by Cabinet Minister Sardar Balkar Singh for outstanding performance of our students during Independence Day celebration at PAU,Ludhiana
  • ATL Mentor Mrs. Kamal Kapil received Regional Teacher of Change and Exemplary Teacher Awards from Atal Innovation Mission and Niti Ayog
  • Mr. Satish Vashisht got School Innovation Mentor Award from Youth Ideathon.
  • Cabinet Minister Sardar Balkar Singh honoured Six years old Yuvraj Singh student of class UKG Google Carpenter during Independence Day Celebration at PAU, Ludhiana.
  • The Energy Swaraj Foundation recognized BVM Kitchlu Nagar with an appreciation certificate for its outstanding contribution to Environment sustainability.
  • Mrs. Nivia Mahajan our talented Hindi Teacher won the consolation prize of Rs.1000/- in National Level slogan writing competition organized by MyGov.
Infrastructure- For well-designed learning environment to enhance educational experiences school provides safe, stimulating and conducive atmosphere with spacious and ventilated classrooms.Modern teaching aids, Language, Science and Computer Labs and vast collection of books in library, playgrounds, Fire safety measures, CCTV surveillance making a true model of high standard school system.

New Initiatives- "During the current session, our school has been abuzz with innovative initiatives, fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Key highlights include:
- Celebrating students' birthdays in morning assembly, promoting a sense of connection
- Dynamic morning assemblies organized by different classes, encouraging teamwork and leadership
- Recognizing 'Star Students of the Month' to boost self-esteem
- Facilitating peer mentorship through appointed team leaders
- Showcasing technical skills through PowerPoint presentation
- To promote leadership and responsibility amongst students Investiture Ceremony was conducting in the beginning of the session.
- Art Skills of students are showcased during different exhibition at school.

Conclusion- As we bring the curtains down on another successful academic year, we take a moment to reflect on our accomplishments and express gratitude to those who made it possible.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our esteemed Management members for their visionary guidance, parents for their unwavering trust, and teachers for their tireless dedication. Your collective support has been instrumental in our progress.

Our pursuit of excellence is ongoing, and we aim to achieve even greater heights in the years to come.
