Our School Club motivates, challenge and stimulate every child of the school. They are a great way for students with similar interests meet.
MEDITATION CLUB
‘Prayer is when you talk to God, Meditation is when God talks to you.’
To practice meditation and mind fullness in a group to promote healthy way of thinking, living and being. Skills are developed through meditation to help students respond better during the challenges of daily living rather than reacting out of the usual habit patterns, likes, aversions, emotions or train of thoughts.
MUSIC CLUB
Music is the language of soul. It plays an integral and essential role in our life. Music has a calming effect to sooth and relax our weary bodies and souls. So,’music club’ is created to inculcate the aesthetic sense among students. Students will not only learn to appreciate but also learn to sing and play music effectively.
DISASTER MANAGEMENT CLUB
‘Trust thyself, every heart vibrates to that iron string.’
We can’t stop natural disasters but we can arm ourselves with knowledge. So many lives wouldn’t have to be lost if there was enough disaster preparedness. The training proves to be the key ingredient to handle any disaster. So the Disaster Management Club aims to foster knowledge about natural calamities and skillfully handling the situations.
SWAMI VIVEKANANDA CLUB
Swamiji said, ‘We are what our thoughts have made us ;so take care about what you think,words are secondary. Thought live, they travel far.’
Swami Vivekananda was one of the galaxy of graet men of 19th century,who have enriched our national,cultural and spiritual lives by his talent and personality. The club aims to give a peep into his ideals and teaching and a sense to inculcate all these values in students’ lives.
SCIENCE CLUB
“Science is the poetry of reality”.
Science Club aims at initiating the raw young minds into the logical,rational world of analytic observation and exploration leading to the development of a reasonable,comprehensible insight into the physical and metaphysical world around them. This club promises to create ripples in the young minds expanding their mental horizon where the practical knowledge will assist to achieve a high scientific attitude and temperament.
MATHS CLUB
“The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics.”
With this fact in mind the maths club for the students aims at making them rid of their innate fear and dread for the subject. The club will give opportunity to the students to learn various tricks and shortcuts to do big calculations easily as well as quickly. The club hopes to develop an interest in the minds of the students for this most sought after subject in real life.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLUB
“Health and intellect are two blessings of life”.
The youth today needs to know the benefits of good health and the ways to achieve and preserve it With a firm belief in this thought the school has introduce health and wellness club for the students. The club will influence the young minds to have healthy habits,attitude and knowledge relating to an individual as well as community at large.
ECO CLUB
Ecology and environment are the two pillars on which existence of man is build. In the eco club students will learn to be more responsible and responsive to the environmental and ecological needs of the world around them. The waste management, controlling pollution and preserving the health of the planet are the highlights of the club.
DANCE CLUB
‘Let there be spaces in our togetherness and let the winds of heavens dance between us’.
Dancing is poetry with arms and legs. It brings music in vision. The club aims to make the whole world beautiful with this beauty of dance and to tap the rhythmic talent of the students.
ART AND CRAFT CLUB
‘Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, making mistakes and having fun.’ Art and Craft Club is fun for children and the ideas comprise a whole host of activities and hobbies that are related to making things with one’s own hands and skill and getting pleasure out of this, when they see their own creation.
LITERARY CLUB
‘Literature is art of discovering something extra ordinary about ordinary people and saying with ordinary words, something extra ordinary.’
The club aims to foster a love for language enchance, literary creativity and provide an avenue for self expression beyond the school. It will also provide a platform for students to participate in the school debate, declamation, quiz, extempore and poetry recitation competitions.
CULTURE AND HERITAGE CLUB
The culture and heritage club endeavors to inculcate a feeling of pride and love for the rich cultural legacy left behind by our ancestors. The motive of the club is to create awareness and participation in heritage related activities among the students. Students will be made familiar with art and architecture of ancient and modern India so that they can help in heritage conservation.
