Keeping in view the spread of mosquito caused diseases like Dengue and Chikungunya, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana explained the students in detail about the symptoms and preventive measures of these diseases. They were advised to avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes by wearing clothes that cover body fully, applying mosquito repellent creams, ensuring no water stagnation in surroundings, keeping living areas and surroundings hygienic and clean secure screens on windows and doors and also avoid going out unnecessarily. Use of closed dustbin and garbage disposal system were also stressed. Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar advised the students to take a very good care of their health by strictly practicing all these suggestions.
