BVM commemorated the 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana commemorated the 350th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji- A man with extra ordinary vision who integrated minds by forging a bond of love by initiating Khalsa Panth. Reliving the significant accounts of Guru Ji’s life, a documentary was displayed through smart boards. House wise Shabad Gayan Competition was organized in special morning assembly. Swami Vivekananda House bagged first position by reciting ‘Das Jan Kar Kirpa Kro’, Aurobindo House went for second position by singing ‘Nasro Mansoor Guru Gobind Singh’, Sardar Bhagat Singh and Shri Lok Manya Tilak House shared third position.
Sixteen best artists were awarded for their best performances in Faber Castell’s Drawing Competition. Vice Principal Mrs. Upasna Moudgil inspired them to continue working hard in the same way. Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar urged the students to follow the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji which have a unique charm with abiding footprints on the sands of time.
