Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana celebrated Baisakhi a festival of tremendous significance, happiness, prosperity and togetherness by messaging all to come out of narrow parochialism and enjoy the festival with real Punjabi feel. Students of pre-primary wing came in colorful attire, traditional Punjabi outlook became the cynosure of the celebration. In morning assembly, the students of primary wing showered musical zeal to the celebration being staunch believers in cordial relations made all feet tapped on the drumming beats of Bhangra. Highly intellectual verbal expressions during speeches made all one with the historical and religious significance of the day. Class wise soft board decoration competition was also organized giving platform to the students to showcase their artistic potentials. Empahsising the urgent need of adopting moral values as a way of life specially by youngsters a motivational lectureon moral values was also organized. Students were instructed to enrich their moral vision by adding ethical view to life. A quiz competition based on the significance of celebrating Baiskahi and Dr. B.R.Amedkar’s life and contributions for social upliftment was also organized.
