For promoting and supporting the use of library amongst the students Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated Library Week from 9th April to 12th April. Real tone for celebrating library week was set up by organizing various competitions. The students were apprised about the significance of books by seminars on books. Bulletin Boards in all classes mirrored as encyclopedic vision of thoughtful thoughts about various books in the form of beautifully decorated book reviews and sketches of Sh.S.R.Ranganathan.
The students of even outside schools did book browsing very enthusiastically during book exhibition. Holistic and informative ideas were showcased in Declamation on “Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader”
The whole week went as boosting session platforming knowledge and imagination regarding literary treasure- said Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar.
Community Day - As today also being the ATL Community Day, marking the Community Drive students of 5 other schools were invited to take an initiative which may help resolving the community problems by enabling them to be problem solvers. They also experienced “Hands on Session” for tinkering their new ideas.
This lab is a way of bringing paradigm shift in education by providing the students enriching scientific skills - said Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar.
