As Cyber Crime is dynamiting the moral and behavioral base of students, a seminar for parents on “How to save your children from being victims of cybercrime” was conducted at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana. Seeking to exhibit wrong bravado before friends, the youngsters generally get trapped in the false network of cyber criminals who refuse following every discipline for the sake of quick commercial gains. The session went as an attempt to make parents vigilant enough for protecting their children by sharing tips like – Use parental control software, Placing computer in trafficked area, Setting limits regarding internet use, Taking backup computer data etc. Seasoned speaker Mrs. Geeta Verma also apprised all with Information Technology Act and National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. Focusing on Cybercrime solutions was shared to overcome the most prominent problem of Cyber Bullying too.
