Making the future generation ready to understand the gravity of the issue of Soil Conservation, BVM Kitchlu Nagar observed ‘World Soil Day’. Soil as vital contributor to human well-being, a critical component of nature plays significant role in growth of food for human survival. Effective implementation of measures to remedy the existing problem of soil erosion and pollution was centered through practical lessons by gardening experts of the school to maintain safety and fertility of soil. Ill effects of soil erosion resulting in filtration, drainage of water degrading the functioning of eco- system with amplifying risks of disasters were elicited to the students.
Ultimate solution to every problem is responsible behavior- Be responsible, protect soil to protect life and prioritize sustainable management of soil. Don’t take soil granted, but a non-renewable gift of nature - guided Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar to the students.
