Recognizing and empowering human rights, BVM Kitchlu Nagar observed Human Rights Day. A panel discussion on ‘Stand up for Human Rights’ recommended the implementation of various amendments. Vociferously championing their demands regarding prevention of violation of human rights, the panelists pondered on various aspects of rights. Speaking against the improper functioning of child labour law, it was stated that- Due to violation of law by adults, children are under continuous exploitation. It was stressed that human rights should not be given back seat as they are of extreme importance. Women empowerment, justice, social and economic equality were the major issues under discussion.
