Working with the highest priority of keeping students healthy and safe , A guiding session on How to beat the heat was conducted at BVM Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana by Mrs Geeta Verma. Preventing and treating heat-related illness , dealing with the impacts of extreme summer heat several management strategies were shared alongwith dissemination of related information such as heat exhaustion and heat strokes etc for effective handling of heat wave. She proposed recommendations preparing for and responding to extreme heat events. Rapid cooling — via ice, water and air, Staying hydrated throughout, Taking frequent breaks in the shade or indoors were the major suggestions.
