Acquainting the young N.C.C. cadets (3PB. Girls BN. NCC ldh) with their social responsibilities, Marching forward in relentless pursuit for excellence in all spheres of developments NCC cadets of BVM Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana observed celebration of NCC Day. The Ceremonial function was also organised, Cadets saluted and honoured the NCC Flag and carried out the March past. Demonstrating their benevolence, all pledged to serve the nation with all efforts. Significance of NCC Flag was also amplified during the ceremony. Emphasizing on devotion, dedication and sincerity, the cadets undertook a class to class awareness move messaging to adopt alert behaviour to fight outbreaks of vector-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria which can overwhelm health systems. Partnering cleanliness campaign of India, cadets also joined hands for the cleanliness drive keeping surroundings clean and green.Activities concluded on a positive note as cadets were feeling happy and satisfied as they contributed their bit in saving mother earth.
Main objective of holding such campaigns is not just to clean the surroundings, but to create awareness among the people on the need for maintaining cleanliness as well and building responsible and disciplined citizens of tomorrow- said Principal Mrs Neelam Mittar.
