Celebrating our unique and diverse cultural heritage by raising awareness to preserve historical sites and monuments ,BVM Kitchlu Nagar observed World Heritage Day. Encouraging students to appreciate and safeguard our monumental treasure , urgent need to protect them from damage or destruction was highlighted. The whole celebration worked as a milestone in the onward march of protecting cultural heritage. A special morning assembly being the show of extreme ebullience preserving our heritage sites- stressed the efforts required to conserve and draw attention towards it.
A beautiful dance fusion showcased the magnificence of incredible Indian monuments.Cherishing Monuments as the foreteller of the past, the students enjoyed enlightening time experiencing the varied flavours of the country’s rich cultural legacy. Providing a belief system and sense of belongingness, cultural heritage is an irreplaceable wealth for the futures to come. All effective and affordable steps to keep this wealth safe must be taken on all grounds- said Principal Mrs Neelam Mittar.
