Developing a sophisticated knowledge based society by achieving proper application of Road Safety Measures, BVM Kitchlu Nagar celebrated *‘UN Global Road Safety Week’ themed on - *Be a Road Safety Hero* enabling students to understand the value of responsible behaviour for their own safety and the safety of others. *Assistant commissioner of police (ACP, Traffic) Sh. Charanjiv Lamba Ji,* along with his Guiding Team apprised Students,Teachers as well as bus drivers about the safety regulations. A very energetic and informative time educated the young impressionable minds about the significance of following traffic rules. Rational and careful use of roads can free all from bringing bad results- Mr Lamba stressed.
Life threatening effects of violation of road safety rules were detailed with special focus on current data of road accidents. Augmenting the importance of safe driving *A Free Eye Check -Up Camp* was also organised for Drivers .The recipients availed the benefits of free eye check-up from eye specialist. After getting the eyes checked, the drivers with poor vision got prescriptions for eyeglasses and other required treatments .
Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar messaged the students to be responsible citizens by properly following all road rules.
