Teej- A traditional festival of swings, songs and dances was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at BVM Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana. Decorated with colorful flowers, leaves and swings the school got adorned with festive atmosphere.The students came dressed in traditional attire and participated in various cultural events including folk dances and songs, Taking turns swinging on beautifully decorated swings ,everyone symbolized the joy and happiness of the festival.
Gleefully marking the bounty of nature , Pleasures of Teej were visualized today amongst giggles, laughs, dances ,dhol dhamaka, swings, mehandi, parandhas , punjabi desserts - kheer malpuas and complete aroma of teej festival. Cladded in ethnic punjabi attires magnificent Punjabis added glory to the day enjoying sky touching fun.
After congratulating all the participants for their ecstatic performances, Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal urged all to take firm steps for safeguarding rich Punjabi Culture.
