BVM Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana marked International E-Waste Day with a documentary and informative session, raising awareness among students about the burgeoning environmental catastrophe of e-waste. Plan Wisely with E-Waste: ATL session educated students on the deleterious effects of e-waste on human health and the environment, emphasizing the importance of decluttering unused electronics to reduce pollution, conserve resources, and save energy. Through this initiative by Mrs Vibha and Ms Chakshu from science department, students gained insight into the hazardous consequences of e-waste and the imperative of responsible disposal practices. The event aimed to empower young learners with the knowledge and motivation to adopt eco-friendly habits and contribute to a more sustainable future. The event also featured presentations on e-waste by students, including Kashish (12th S1), Dhruvi (12th S1), and Sanskriti (11th S1). Additionally, Kavya (6th B) recited a poem on e-waste, and Himanshu (6th F) administered a pledge.
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal urged students to be ambassadors of change, promoting sustainable practices and tackling the pernicious impacts of e-waste on the environment.
