Working for social implementation and awareness of Swachhata Mission under 15 days’ observance of Swachhata Pakhwada, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated successful and effective plan with the whole hearted participation of school staff and students.
- Echoing their voice on Swachhata Mission the students took ‘Swachhata Shapath’ with full spirit to share the best of their endeavors for making India clean and green India. The cleanliness drive added better understanding amongst the students to work as active agents and build a better India for themselves and for the generations to come.
- Conceptualizing and executing the totality of Swachhata Pakhwada the NCC Cadets enjoyed with full swing, the day of ‘Community Outreach’. The initiative made them know their vital role in shaping the India of their dreams-Swachh India.
- Viewing and recognizing the significant role of school in spreading ‘Swachhata Awareness’ the students participated in various competitions and activities- Declamation on ‘New India, Swachh India’ , Quiz contest on ‘Bapu Ji Ka Bharat’ and Making the Best out of Waste.
- Vitalizing and extending the green surroundings, ‘Green School Drive’ was launched with massive tree plantation drive with sincere commitment to environment friendly future under future oxygen insurance Policy. Action Oriented Eco-friendly agents of school treasured greenery for supporting green environment.
- Under ‘Swachhata Participation’ taking up brooms in hands, the students cleaned the school premises and surroundings too. Little ones of junior classes were seen picking up Paper bits, Dry leaves, Caring and Watering plants.
- Reviewing and ensuring promotion of health and prevention of diseases ‘Hand Wash Day’ was administered. As kids become easy victims of diseases caused due to unhygienic practices this program went as inspiring instrument of developing healthy and hygienic life.
- Imbuing the students with true sense to figure out good, sound, and hygienic practices-an interactive session on ‘Personal Hygiene’ was conducted. Scientific benefits of Swachhata were shared demanding the students to be Swachhata Sepoys of Mother India.
- ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ General Public Awareness for the full-fledged success of this Abhiyan at much greater level was created for the serious implementation of the plan, bringing revolution in basic social thought of embracing cleanliness as way of life.
- ‘Swachhata Art Exhibition’ of decorative and educative models were the meaningful attractions of the exhibition day exhibiting the height of knowledge and creativity making best out of waste in combination with Swachhata Action Day during cleanest class competition.
- Core objective of dissemination the message of Swachh Bharat was fulfilled by using pen-powers and high intellect during ‘Letter Writing Day’ in letters to Bapu Ji extending commitments for making future India better.
- The active volunteers of Swachhata Pakhwada who participated outstandingly in various Swachhata competitions were honored for their best practices during ‘Prize Distribution Day’.
While interacting with the students, Principal Mrs.Neelam Mittar motivated them to do the best of their endeavors for the success of Swachhata Abhiyan.
