‘Sciensea-2015’- A Mega Science Festival
BVM Kitchlu Nagar hosted Sciensea-2015 featuring collaboration of major city schools. The fest commemorated the contribution of Dr. Sh.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam an embodiment of eclecticism of India’s heritage of diversity- ‘Science Guru’. The host activities geared in the field of science and technology explored interaction between science and life. A winsome welcome was extended to the worthy Chief Guest of the Day Mrs. Gurinder Kaur Sangha– Dean, College of Basic Sciences, PAU. Sh.M.M.Bamba ji declared the sciensea-2015 open.
Focusing interdisciplinary attractions the fest comprised- Model Making Competition, Quiz Contest, Declamation, Gallery of scientists and Nukad Natak on ‘Save Environment’ and an exhibition of science models. Offering a varied range of programmes the Science Fest-‘Sciensea-2015’ - for enriching and improving scientific vision showed- tomorrow’s scientists , working today, supported next generation’s scientists. Dr.S.S.Hundal Prof. & Head of Zoology department and Prof.Mohanjit Kaur Kang from IT department GNE judicially adjudged the Model Making and declamation.
Sh.M.M.Vyas ji, Sh.O.P.Sabharwal ji and Sh.M.M.Bamba ji from BVM Trust appreciated the electrifying energy of the participants. Principal Mrs.Neelam Mittar appreciated the efforts made by the students and the guidance of their teachers.
Paying high words of gratitude to the guest schools President Sh.M.M.Vyas ji said- Sciensea, an exciting, exhilarating and empowering festival has opened today an expansive world of science adding freshness and flair to young minds with this he also messaged the students to put their every endevour for the welfare of their motherland. Secretary BVM Trust Sh.P.C.Goyal ji also thanked the august gathering and declared the ‘Sciensea-2015’ closed.
