In order to honor our democracy , Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana marked 26th November as the constitution day ,following the directions of the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE).The symbol of our identity as being Indians our honorable constitution’s preamble was illuminated on this very day. Specific events were observed in the morning assembly like news, thoughts and speech based on the Indian constitution. In poster making competition for 6th to 12th classes the students illustrated the messages contained in the preamble in a very meaningful and beautiful manner.
Principal Mrs Neelam Mittar, addressed the students briefly about the significance of celebrating the constitution Day in the school’s assembly besides leading the school to take pledge by reciting the “PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION”.
The celebration undertook our dignified constitution as a living document capable of adapting to current situations. Students also experienced intellectual struggle in quizzes themed on constitution. Reading out the preamble to the constitution in the morning assembly devoted a period to make students aware of the salient features of the constitution.
This historic day, the constitution Day should be commemorated as a day of lessoning the students regarding the working of our signified constitution-said Principal.
