January 12, 2016 A festival of complete joy - Lohri was celebrated with vivacity and festivity. A rich blend of activities marked the significance of the day. Students enchanted all with folk songs, Giddha and Punjabi tappe by giving group presentations. There was a perfect amalgamation of rhythm, feel, joy and mood of festivity. With this class wise bulletin Board decoration and Shabad Gayan Competitions were organized. Principal Mrs Neelam Mittar congratulated BVM family on this occasion and added that celebrations are not only meant for having happiness but for protecting our age old cultural heritage and bringing oneness and togetherness among the people in all.
- Celebrating the Birth Anniversary Swami Vivekanand ji Sketch Making and Paper Reading competition were organized for expressing words of indebtness to Swami ji. A documentary on the life and teachings of Swami ji showed the students that the harmony of all religions accomplished in his life’s endeavours was the keynote of Swami ji’s life.
- Marking the occasion of Guru Purv of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji – Great Prophet, last Guru of Sikhs with creative genius who strengthened the spiritual aspirations “Paper Reading Competition” was organized in which the students stressed on the great endeavours of Guru ji for preaching the dignity of humanity.
