Taking several initiatives to support and promote foundational stage teaching, A Workshop on Advancements in NCF And Foundational Stage including Teachers from all BVM branches was administered today at BVM Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana. Focusing on the implementation of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) as part of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the program aimed to empower teachers to create an activity-based learning environment. Emphasizing holistic and experiential learning approach for children aged 3-8 years introduction of"Jadui Pitara," a play-based learning and teaching material designed for children in the foundational stage was also advocated. Pitara including playbooks, toys, puzzles, and storybooks to promote learning through play was designed. Trying to make clear the components of Holistic Progress Assessment ,Worthy Resource Persons of the day - Ms. Anu Kathuria ,Ms. Anita Marwaha, Ms. Tejinder ,Ms. Kamini ,Ms. Meenu and Ms.Sumati made it easily accessible with ideas to better fit the range of needs and benefitting all.
The workshop as a part of a broader effort to implement the new curriculum framework stressed the importance of play-based learning and development across various domains, including multiple skills- said Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal after thanking all the esteemed educators.
