14-05-2016- World Astronomy Day was observed today in the premises of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana as a day of studying celestial bodies. Open opportunities were provided to the students for utilizing the day to explore universe in their own way. Participation in various activities like Poster Making on Solar System, write ups on Imagine your journey through space, class discussions supplemented with questionnaire on ‘Earth and other Planets’ . PPT on new discoveries in the areas of space familiarized the students with multiple facets of universe and the ways of coming closer to it.
‘Knowledge is an essential input for building up the new heights of success- said Principal Neelam Mittar, marking the significance of the day.
