Advocating sustainable stewardship of soil resources under the theme “Origin of Nourishment: Soil – The Foundation of Food”, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, observed World Soil Day. To elevate awareness about the vitality of healthy soil ecosystems and human well‑being, the school organized a variety of activities—soil‑preparation workshop, soil‑painting, and a pledge to protect soil. A specialized session with gardening experts highlighted the importance of soil conservation, endorsing a resolution to value soil as a critical part of the natural system. The discussions also focused on tackling soil erosion and pollution, illustrated through creative soil art.
