Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, organized a meaningful awareness drive integrating Heat Safety with Jal Pakhwada, sensitizing students towards well-being and water conservation.
The programme included informative sessions on the dangers of excessive heat, stressing hydration, proper clothing, and avoiding peak sun hours. Awareness lectures also highlighted judicious water use, rainwater harvesting, and the need to preserve this vital resource.
Students participated in poster-making and slogan-writing, promoting messages like “Stay Cool, Stay Safe” and “Save Water, Save Life.” They also shared practical rainwater harvesting tips such as rooftop collection and groundwater recharge.
Students were further encouraged to adopt simple conservation habits like minimizing wastage and reusing water in daily life.
