Empower U- 2026: BVM Group of Schools Ignites a Transformative Journey of Learning, Leadership and Growth « 29/Jun/2026

The BVM Group of Schools commenced its week-long Teacher Empowerment Programme, Empower U 2026, with two enriching and inspiring professional development sessions designed to enhance both technological proficiency and interpersonal excellence among educators.
The programme began on an auspicious note with the traditional Tilak Ceremony, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, invoking the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati for wisdom, knowledge and enlightenment. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the worthy members of the BVM Trust, including Secretary Sh. Parkash Chand Goyal ji, Joint Secretary CA Rajeev Puri ji, Manager BVM  Sector-39 Chandigarh Road Er. D. D. Sharma ji, Member Sh. Naresh Nagrath ji and Sh. Subhash Jain ji along with the Principals and Vice Principals of all BVM institutions.
The first session of the series was conducted by two accomplished educators and technology mentors—Mrs. Ritika Hora, Computer Faculty at BVM Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana and Ms. Saru Jaswal, Head of the Computer Department at BVM Sector-39, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. The session introduced participants to the diverse features and practical applications of Google Docs and Google Sheets, demonstrating how these digital tools can enhance collaboration, boost productivity and streamline classroom management. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities, the resource persons empowered teachers with essential digital skills that can be seamlessly integrated into their everyday teaching practices.
The second session, titled “The Art of the Difficult Conversation – Soft Skills and Body Language for Handling Challenging Students and Parents,” was conducted by renowned educationist and communication expert Mrs. Abha Sikri. She shared valuable insights into effective communication, emotional intelligence and the power of positive body language in managing difficult interactions with students and parents. Through relatable examples and engaging discussions, she equipped educators with practical strategies to navigate challenging conversations with confidence, empathy and professionalism.
Faculty members participated enthusiastically in both sessions and greatly appreciated the practical, thought-provoking, and transformative ideas shared by the resource persons.
Reaffirming its commitment to continuous professional development, the BVM Group of Schools continues to create meaningful opportunities that empower educators with essential life, leadership and technological skills. As part of this commitment, the school also launched an eco-conscious initiative encouraging all participating teachers to carry reusable water bottles and refrain from using single-use plastic, thereby promoting environmental sustainability and responsible living.
The inaugural day concluded with the presentation of planters and mementoes to the resource persons as a token of gratitude, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
The sessions proved immensely enriching, leaving participants inspired, technologically empowered and better equipped to foster meaningful relationships within the school community—while reinforcing the values of sustainability, responsibility and lifelong learning.
