Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana organised a thought-provoking sensitisation session on Good Touch and Bad Touch for the students of Class V, fostering awareness about personal safety, bodily boundaries and the confidence to respond appropriately to uncomfortable situations.
The session was conducted by Dr Navpreet Bhathal Psychologist, BVM Group of Schools, who addressed this sensitive subject with commendable clarity, empathy and age-appropriate sensitivity. Through engaging interactions and relatable situations, she helped students distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate touch, recognise warning signs and understand the importance of immediately confiding in a trusted adult whenever they feel unsafe or uncomfortable. The young learners were encouraged to respect their personal boundaries, exercise discernment and confidently voice their concerns.
Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal stated , We believe that informed children grow into responsible and resilient individuals. We also urge parents and guardians to maintain open communication with their children so that they always feel safe, heard and supported.
