Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana once again etched its name in the sporting arena with a stellar display of tenacity, technical finesse and competitive brilliance at the Zonal Level Badminton Tournament, held at Guru Nanak Stadium on 6th and 7th August 2026.
Demonstrating remarkable agility, strategic acumen and unwavering determination, the school’s Under-14 Boys’ Badminton Team secured the Third Position. The accomplished contingent comprised Vyom, Rakshit, Abhimanyu, Aayan and Aarav, who exhibited exemplary coordination and spirited performance throughout the tournament.
The Under-19 Boys’ Team delivered an equally impressive performance, clinching the Second Position. The team featured Dev, Vivek, Krishna, Madhav and Ritik, whose exceptional court craft, perseverance and sporting temperament earned them well-deserved recognition.
Adding further lustre to the achievement, Vyom and Rakshit from the Under-14 category and Vivek and Krishna from the Under-19 category were selected for the District-Level Tournament. Their selection stands as a testament to their sustained endeavour, formidable skill and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal applauded The Mentor Mrs Gagandeep Kaur and all young achievers for their grit, dexterity, composure and competitive spirit.
