With strong determination, sharp focus, and an unyielding sporting spirit, the young karatekas of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana delivered an impressive performance at the 70th Zonal SGFI Karate Tournament held at PAU School.
In the U-14 Girls category, held on 27–28 July 2026, Niharika and Radhya secured third place. In the U-14 Boys category, held on 4–5 August 2026, Daksh Sati, Jaywardhan, and Karan Garg also secured third place.
In the U-17 Boys category, Divyansh Jain and Aarush Bajaj earned third place, displaying notable composure and technical skill.
The U-19 Boys category proved especially significant for BVM, as Pratham Kumar secured first place and was selected for the District SGFI Karate Team.
Pankaj Kapoor and Jagtar Singh secured second place, while Mahir Aneja and Tarun secured third place.
Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal congratulated the karate team and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the coaches. She encouraged all participants to keep striving for higher goals, stating that every competition is a stepping stone to greater opportunities.
