Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, once again demonstrated its formidable sporting prowess at the Zonal Level Football Tournament, held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on 12 August 2026.
The Under-19 Girls’ Football Team clinched the First Position, delivering a scintillating performance characterised by tactical finesse, cohesive teamwork, remarkable agility, and unwavering fortitude. Their consistent excellence throughout the tournament culminated in a well-deserved zonal triumph. Eight players earned selection for the District Level, further enhancing the glory of this achievement.
The victorious U-19 team comprised Yashi, Sanskriti, Manya, Kaushika, Geet, Atashi, Latika, Ramandeep, Prathana, Vrinda, Tapasya and Disha.
Adding another accolade to the school’s sporting repertoire, the Under-14 Girls’ Team secured the Third Position, displaying commendable skill, determination, discipline, and spirited teamwork. The team comprised Alisha, Apaar, Saumya, Guraansh, Aradhya, Saanvi, Lakshita, Avni, Janice and Gauravi. Two players earned selection for the District Level, marking another significant accomplishment.
