Harbouring radiant hopes for the nation’s glorious future, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, commemorated the 80th Independence Day by saluting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and hoisting the National Flag with pride and patriotic fervour. The milestone celebration reflected India’s remarkable journey of progress, resilience and national pride.
The highly distinguished Member of the B.V.M. Governing Council, Secretary, Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji ,Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal along with Senior Teachers hoisted the National Flag. Patriotic songs and eloquent speeches by the teaching fraternity added grandeur to the occasion, recalling the arduous struggle that won the nation its cherished freedom.
The gathering also paid homage to Sri Aurobindo Ji, the eminent philosopher, Yoga Guru, poet and ardent nationalist, on his birth anniversary.
Wishing the nation a prosperous future, Secretary Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji and Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal urged everyone to value freedom and guide Gen Z towards responsible citizenship. They emphasised creating awareness against drug abuse and inspiring the youth to shun addictions, make purposeful choices and emerge as responsible torchbearers of a progressive India.
