High skilled exuberance was witnessed today in the premises of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana during long awaited bonfire festival of Lohri. The students were seen relaxing and enjoying traditional Punjabi songs and tappe. There was a perfect amalgamation of rhythm, feel, joy and mood of festivity. For providing knowledge about the celebration of the day. A questionnaire was organized for the junior classes.
Principal Neelam Mittar congratulated all on this festival of togetherness and motivated the students to protect their cultural heritage and not to use Chinese dor.
- Celebrating the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand- A key figure in the introduction of Indian Philosophy a special talk time was organized for making the students familiarized with the spiritual guide of the country. As the harmony of all religion accomplished in his life’s endeavors, short incidents of Swami ji’s life were shared with the students.
- In furtherance of the initiative of contributing towards the health of the drivers a free eye check-up camp was organized for them. Many drivers availed benefit of this camp. Besides eye check-up basic tips were given regarding eye care.
