Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana organized library week as a way to enhance reading skills amongst the students. As today’s youth is getting more digi-tech and gets less time for reading extra informative books, the library week worked successfully in establishing and sticking the students with reading schedule’s. By writing book reviews based on reading of specific books, the students presented a blend of their imaginations with the knowledge about the books. Adding up and exploring artistic attempts, a competition regarding artistic presentation of news headlines was also administered.
Spending much time on technical gadgets leaves all more tense, achy and sometimes miserable. Spare a short time daily by being one with books as your best friends- said Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar to the students.
