Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated festival of trees- Van Mahotsav on 22-Jul-17. As day by day depletion of greenery has become a serious issue, taking initiatives to protect and plant trees a slew of activities was organized. Themed on ‘Go Greener Go Safer’ and ‘Save Trees, Save Life’ Slogan Writing and Poster Making Competitions gained rich participation on the part of students. Tushar, Bhoomika Jindal and Tripti Jain performed best from middle wing in poster making competition. Palak, Vani, Ekansh and Manik showcased their beautiful word power in Slogan Writing Competition of Primary-wing Remembering the fineness and superiority of trees the little ones of school enjoyed participation in the activity of seed germination. Spreading awareness regarding harm caused due to declining greenery, Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar appealed the students and staff to plant more trees as planting trees is nourishing life.
