Teej brings along pleasure & happy moments when young leaves sprout, Koel sings and kids enjoy swings. Some part of it was visualized today in the premises of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana, as there were giggles, laughs & complete aroma of typical Teej Festival.
Sky touching fun was felt in manifold recreational activities. Students of middle & primary wing also showcased their melodious voices in Punjabi Folk Song competition with a perfect blend of rhythm and feel. For adding cultural awareness a quiz on teej was administered for the students of higher wing.
All the students enjoyed sweet delicacies to celebrate the sweetness of Teej. The day got wrapped into the melody of Punjabi Folk Songs sung by the students as sky touching jubilance reverberated the real sense of the day. Girls enjoyed swings and applied Heena on hands.
Idhi, Archana & Mehak were selected as the best singers of folk song competition.
