Highlighting the significance of protecting Girl Child-Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated International Girl Child Day.Motley of activities like self-composed Poem Recitation, Speeches, Debates and Rally on DaurBetiyonKa were organized on the observance day for girls. Addressing the needs and challenges that girls face, all the participants focused on bringing a paradigm shift in the thought of the society. General humiliating treatment towards females in families, drudgery of domestic work, general discrimination, skewed gender ratio were the most focused and harshly criticized issues taken under debate.
