With upbeat mood of festive spirit embellished with colourful kites BVM Kitchlu Nagar celebrated long awaited bonfire festival with utmost joy. Students relished traditional sweets like groundnuts, Gatchak ,Bhugga and Raveries. A replica of Punjabi village and folk masti was experienced, as the students of junior classes got attired in Punjabi outlook. Extreme joviality was speeding during the singing of folklores related to lohri. Celebrating the birth anniversary of Maker of Modern India Swami Vivekanand ji, the students paid homage to this great leader in a befitting manner. Declamation on Swami Vivekanand – True inspiration for youth was organized and poem recitation on Saahsi Bano, Shaktishali Bano soaked all in the high teachings of Swami Vivekanand as a great reformer. Stretching the campaign against the use of chinese kite string ‘Chinese Dor, No More’ the students were guided not to use chinese dor for kite flying by explaining its dangerous impacts.
After congratulating all on this most cheerful, harvest festival, Vice Principal Mr.Rajesh Kumar exhorted the students to follow the teachings of Great Philosopher Swami Vivekanand ji for bringing real prosperity to the nation.
