To revitalize the use of Sanskrit as ancient language of India, BVM Kitchlu Nagar observed Sanskrit Week from 31st July to 6th August 2020. Creating opportunities to benefit from the systematic structure of language online competitions like Shalok Gayan, Geet Gayan and Ramayan Prshnottari stimulated the students’ interest in Sanskrit language. Sanskrit as predominantly used for recitation during Pujan ceremonies personifies rich Indian cultural heritage. Sanskrit is indispensable part of India’s rich cultural heritage and it is globally recognized as language of earliest literature. Making use of it in general communication is respecting not only Sanskrit but also Nation’s rich literary treasure-said Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar.
