Highlighting the significance of protecting Girl Child, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana celebrated National Girl Child Day. Motley of activities like Poem Recitation, One Act Play, Speeches , Debates and Talk Show on *Emerging Hopes with new beliefs and behaviours* were organized centered on the needs and challenges that girls face. All the participants focused on bringing a paradigm shift in the basic thought of the society. General humiliating treatment towards females in families, drudgery of domestic work, general discrimination, skewed gender ratio were the most highlighted and harshly criticized issues taken for quick consideration.
Addressing the girls Principal Mrs Neelam Mittar inspired them to achieve their dreams and lead the world.
