With full aplomb and enthusiasm, Breaking the monotony of monotonous life, BVM Kitchlu Nagar rejoiced the harvest festival of Baisakhi with immense gusto and enthusiasm.Hilarious cultural performances on Dhol Beats with beautiful artefacts boomed the merry mood of all on this pleasurable festival. Extraordinary fervor added grandeur to the day.The children came dressed in traditional Punjabi colourful outfits with ornaments and accessories. Aptly decorated auditorium depicted the joy of harvest season decked with phulkaris, pakhies, Manjies, charkhas and flowers,. Teachers enhanced the jubilant mood by joining them in the dance on Dhol beats. Amidst the vibrant dance performances - Bhangra and Gidda, students rejoiced and celebrated Baisakhi in carnival of dance, music bonanza and competitions titled under 'Mela Baisakhi Da Te Taur Punjabia Di'.
Commemorating the contributions of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar-Architect of Indian
Constitution the students participated in speeches and quiz contests on Indian constitution. Dr Ambedkar’s contribution to construct the entire concept of Republic of India was immensely discussed . Honouring his contribution and service to the country ,Vice Principal Mr Rajesh Kumar addressed him as The leader who stood for equality all his life time with unmatched determination and a firm commitment towards social justice.
Solemnising Mahavir Jayanti by orienting the students with the life and teachings of Lord Mahavira an educational session on *Meditation -More and More You* to acquire state of purest self progressed profoundly. Advocating meditation on regular basis, Vice Principal Mr Rajesh Kumar exhorted the students to meditate for promoting concentration in studies and keeping all stress at bay after extending Baisakhi Greetings to BVM Family.
