An educationally awareness session on Eco- Friendly Diwali was conducted for Students in BVM, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana. Resonating to celebrate healthy and pollution free Diwali, Mrs. Geeta Verma ,keynote speaker of the session apprised all with the need to celebrate pollution free Diwali pointing harmful and hazardous impacts of using crackers and synthetic sweets. Lighting earthen lamps and diyas , use of natural colours for rangoli making, use of jute bags in place of plastic bags, was also stressed. They were inspired to set new trends by gifting plants and donating goods and sweets to the underprivileged ones.
Principal Mrs Neelam Mittar urged the students to work well for improving the quality of human life in all its dimensions and say a rousing 'No To Crackers'.
