Evoking students' desire to be fit and healthy for an exultant life, BVM Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana observed Nutrition Week filled with both fun and education. A myriad of activities,consisting of Awareness Session on Good Diet :Good Health, Declamation Contest on Wise Eating Choices and Healthy Tiffin Competition was conducted. Guidance over how to read and understand food labels, focusing on nutritional content added rational use of packed food articles.
By bringing fruits as snacks, students discussed the health benefits of different types of fruits. The initiative aimed to instill lifelong healthy habits among the younger generation.
Kitchen garden time taught the students about the farm-to-plate process and the importance of fresh produce.Finding natural relief for digestive issues easy yoga and gentle movements were also practised.
Guiding the students to be very cautious about good health, Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal urged them to develop healthy eating habits avoiding junk food and enjoying only home made fresh food.
